About Us

A Family Tradition of Safe Drivers

A-1 Gephart's Driving School was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves to learn how to drive in a safe, supportive environment. What started as one instructor and one car has grown into Harrisburg's most trusted driving school — but our approach hasn't changed.

We take the time to understand each student's goals, fears, and learning style. No rush. No pressure. Just patient, methodical instruction from certified professionals who genuinely care about getting you where you're going — safely.

Testimonials

Words From Our Graduates

Don't take our word for it — hear from the students and parents who've trusted us with their driving education.

"My daughter was terrified of driving before her first lesson with Gephart's. By the end of her third session, she was confidently merging onto I-83. The instructor made her feel safe and capable. We couldn't be happier."

"I was 42 and had never learned to drive. Everyone told me it was too late. Gephart's proved them wrong — my instructor was incredibly patient and I passed my road test on the first try. Life-changing experience."

T
Adult Student
Londonderry Township

"We drove from Lancaster just to use Gephart's because of the reputation. Our son needed extra practice before his road test, and the focused prep sessions made all the difference. He passed with no points taken. Highly recommend."
